The Utah Business Aviation Association (UBAA) is pleased to announce our Fall 2023 stakeholder luncheon on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2 at NOON that will be hosted by Duncan Aviation in Provo. All roles within the industry are invited and welcome to join your fellow BizAv professionals for this event which will include a networking lunch and speakers + topics geared towards issues affecting business aviation in Utah and beyond. COST: $15 per attendee.
Also on November 2 at Duncan Aviation Provo, UBAA has partnered with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) to host a one-day NBAA Professional Development Program (PDP) course entitled SMS For Business Aviation. The NBAA PDP attendees will also take part in the UBAA Fall 2023 Luncheon.
This one-day course, held in partnership with the Utah Business Aviation Association, will provide a thorough review of safety management systems (SMS), including benefits, objectives, risk management, safety assurance and promotion. Both FAA and ICAO guidance will be reviewed. By fully understanding SMS fundamentals, the participant will be able to contribute to the development of an SMS program for their business aviation department, or simply support an existing SMS. By adopting an SMS, business aviation departments will realize new efficiencies and greater safety, thereby producing benefits for the entire organization and furthering the business aviation industry.
